FAME IS THE SPUR

Inspired by Howard Springs’ novel, Fame is the Spur our walk will visit Bradford locations that inspired Delius, J B Priestley and David Hockney. Along the way we visit the birthplace of the Independent Labour Party, the first curry house and stop for lunch at the new Darley St Market food hall.

The walk is in two parts. The first part is based in Bradford town centre, starting at Forster Square station. The second part is based in Manningham. We will catch a bus, after lunch, between the two and the walk will return from Frizinghall railway station.
